This is the type of Tequila we didn’t know we needed until now. Butterfly Cannon Tequila wants you to forget everything you know about Tequila and join them in a whole new world of flavored tequila, made with mixing in mind.

It was named after the yearly migration of butterflies that travel across North America to spend the winter in Mexico’s less deadly climate. The brand also drives projects for Mexican butterfly wildlife preservation. It’s produced at the Destiladora del Valle de Tequila, Jalisco Mexico. The traditionally 8-years-old agave plants are hand-crafted into luxurious expressions of flavor-infused Tequila.

Very interesting. For those that don't know, prickly pear, which is the most prominent flavor in this tequila, has a bubble gum flavor to it. So if you love that flavor, this tequila is for you. Personally, bubblegum is not my favorite, especially with a tequila. However, this is a great party bottle. The flavor is super unexpected and a big hit with a crowd. I prefer a more agave flavor so this won't be a regular sipper for me, but it's still great liquor. If you have a cocktail that would benefit from a bubblegum flavor, this is perfect!

This doesn’t resemble tequila at all. Good tequila or bad tequila. This is awful. If you enjoy margaritas or good sipping tequila - steer way clear.

This is terrible. It tastes nothing like tequila. All I can imagine from the positive reviews is that they are from people who don't really like good tequila. It was medicinal and as someone else stated, it kink of has a bubble gum flavor thanks to the prickly. pear.
