Bulleit Single Barrel Strength is a smooth 120 proof of their best.

Tom Bulleit comes from a family steeped in distilling fine Spirits. He set out to make his own mark in 1987 when he launched Bulleit Frontier Whiskey by reviving the old family recipe โ€” Bulleit Bourbon โ€” with a high-rye mash bill and a ton of attitude. Today they are a part of the Diageo portfolio producing a range of four Bourbons and one Rye Whiskey that have become the Spirits of choice for discriminating cocktail drinkers around the world.

Ladies and gentlemen, we are gathered here today to pay tribute to the greatest entry in the Bulleit lineup โ€” Bulleit Barrel Strength. All of the Bourbons coming out of Bulleit Distillery are made from the same time-honored recipe: 68% corn, 28% rye, and 4% barley. There are no wheat or grain fillers, and every percentage point of that mix serves a specific purpose. The corn makes it sweet and savory, the rye adds some spice and body, and that dash of barley makes the yeast happy โ€” goosing the fermenting process. Since this is poured right out of the barrel, the proof ranges between 120 and 125 (60% to 62.5% ABV). And this stuff is truly wonderful, winning Double Gold and "Best Straight Bourbon" in 2018.

Very good. The caramel & vanilla dull the intensity of the proof, but the spice & pepper stick with you from nose to finish to leave you with an ample reminder of this potent whisky
