Buffalo Trace Single Barrel Select #255 is a Kentucky Straight Bourbon that elevates the classic Buffalo Trace experience. Handpicked from a single oak cask, this expression boasts a unique personality with an ABV of 45%. Expect the signature notes of caramel, vanilla, and baking spices, but with added layers of oak depth and fruit complexity. It's a bourbon that stands out, offering a rich tapestry of flavors that are both familiar and intriguingly distinct.
It has become the flagship of the Sazerac Bourbon line-up. They keep the mash bill tight — corn, rye, and malted barley with no wheat filler. It is also aged 7 years and served up at 45% ABV. All that means good Bourbon flavor in every sip.
We taste buttery caramel, toffee, dried pineapple, and cinnamon toast. The finish is decent in length with lingering spice and sweet.
