Sufficiently light and old to please the palate.
Finding the perfectly balanced flavor profile of a Whisky has been a quest of many. Only a few succeeded, and even fewer brought the Whisky game to new heights. When James Buchanan moved to London in 1879, he soon realized that an English palate needs a more polished flavor profile from a Whisky. Something smooth, and light, but still sufficiently old. And bam, he was right! The first Whisky he ever created was snapped up by London music halls and from there, he only got better. In 1925, 31 years after starting the business, he joined the expanding Distillers Company Ltd, the forerunner to Diageo. Still going strong today, Buchanan’s Blended Scotch Whisky stands for one of the best Whiskies on the market.
This Whisky is popular pretty much all over the world, but the fanbase is especially strong in the States and Latin America. Perhaps it was this special bond between the people and the brand that has given us one of the most unique and tasty Buchanans to date: a Pineapple Spirit. This extraordinary Whisky combines the light caramel and vanilla notes of Scotch Whisky with the lush, juicy flavor of pineapple. Bottled at 35% ABV, this spectacular Spirit is perfect to brighten up your days.
