Breckenridge Distillery is nestled high in the Rockies at an altitude of 9600 feet, which makes it the World's highest distillery. They've been around since 2007, but if you saw their achievements, you'd think they established the distillery somewhere in the 19th century. They won more than two dozen awards, including the "Distillery of the Year" accolade — twice! Breckenridge is a force to be reckoned with.
 
Their best-selling flagship Bourbon blend is a flavorful fantasy, but it was time to get it a fun Flaviar member cover. A handful of Flaviaristas gathered at Breckenridge for a blending match. The team led by the Master Distiller Hans Stafsholt created the winning blend (chosen through blind tasting) and this is it. 50% of the expression is Breckenridge Bourbon with selected barrels carefully added to create this marvelous blend. Only 480 bottles were made, which makes it a true rarity. The fresh green apple nose and lush chocolaty palate came together during an evening of camaraderie and creativity. Perfect for Breckenridge-heads and collectors.
