As you would expect, Bowmore 27 Year Old Timeless Series is a limited edition — There are just 3000 bottles for all of us to share. Each bottle is filled with Bowmore’s signature Peated Single Malt that has been aged first in a combination of ex-Bourbon and Sherry casks for fifteen years, then re-casked in first-fill Oloroso Sherry casks for an additional twelve years. That makes for twenty-seven years of superior aging delivered at a cask strength of 52.7% ABV… just imagine. That’s why it is part of their exclusive "Timeless" series. And it arrives in a gorgeous black wood case shaped like an hourglass AND with a real hourglass inside.
