Learn more >A rich and satisfying Coffee Liqueur that delivers New England coffee culture in a bottle.
Rhonda Kallman is a sharp, savvy businesswoman. She was a founding partner of The Boston Beer Company — famous for their Samuel Adams Boston Lager and Angry Orchard Hard Cider, among other beverages. She went on to found New Century Brewing. Her story was even featured in the 2009 movie "Beer Wars." And then in 2011 she founded Boston Harbor Distillery, building out her stills in a historic 1859 brick warehouse in the Harbor District where the team makes Whiskey, Rum, Liqueurs, and other Spirits.
Boston Harbor Distillery Coffee Liqueur is just about as "New England" as you can get. It’s a combination of Boston Harbor Distillery’s New England Putnam Rye, a cold brew "413 Roast" from Barrington Coffee Roasters of Western Massachusetts, Ackermann Maple Syrup from Vermont, and the famous Autocrat Coffee Syrup made in Rhode Island since 1885. The combination has a rich palate with a thicker, almost creamy mouthfeel that packs all the flavor of coffee without being overly sweet. Perfect to sip neat over ice, but it mixes wonderfully in cocktails as well.
Smartass Corner:
With a history of Spirit-making in Boston, beginning with Samuel Adams Lager, Rhonda still has a patriotic bent. We’re not sure how she arranged it, but Boston Harbor Distillery owns a Vendome copper pot still that has the registered serial number "1776."
