The classic London Dry Gin served in whimsical collector’s edition bottle.

Bombay Sapphire is one of the best known and most popular Gins in the world. It was created in 1986 by International Distillers & Vintners which was part of the mega-merger that created Diageo. Diageo sold the brand to Bacardi in 1997 where it has been raised to flagship status. The entire line of Gins is still produced in England by the famous G&J Greenhall — long makers of some of the world’s best Gins — in a new, purpose-built facility and visitor center in Whitchurch, Hampshire.

There are two parts to Bombay Sapphire Steven Harrington Limited Edition — the classic signature Spirit and the artistically designed bottle it comes in. The Spirit is the same Bombay Sapphire you know and love. That means that it’s been distilled three times in a Carterhead still — the kind used to infuse the best Gins for more than one hundred years. It also means the same ten botanicals, including juniper berries, almond, lemon zest, licorice, orris root, angelica, coriander, cassia, cubeb, and grains of paradise.

The bottle is a new design created by Los Angeles artist Steven Harrington with a heavy dose of graphic arts using colors and whimsical iconography that reflect a distinctly West Coast vibe.

The finish is brisk and clean with lingering pine and herbal notes.
