If you’re a grey-haired Whiskey aficionado, you probably remember when Blue Spot disappeared from the shelves in the Sixties. Well, thanks to Mitchell & Son, the wonderful explosion of flavors returns! Blue Spot 7YO is a blend of Whiskeys matured in Bourbon, Sherry, and Madeira casks, bottled at cask strength. The rebirth smells like cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and apple pie, with a spicy palate; think black and Sichuan peppers, vanilla green apple, lemon peel, and toasted hazelnuts. Welcome back!

Good dram, price is too high

Great Dram! This was a good dram at $150 per bottle, but price went up $100 in late 2023. I think this is a fair bit too much. Happy to have a backup at $150, but over 200 makes this a no go.
