Stemming from a long line of ‘honey-picked’ Barrels and the grandfather of ‘super-premium’ spirits Elmer T. Lee, this is the kind of bottle - you build a cabinet for. Blinding artisanal decanter is only the start of what's to follow. A delicious silkiness of chocolate-y sweetness, spice, citrus, and oak. The finish on this masterfully handled sour mash bill is clean, just like the fact that this is simply amazing.

I payed to upgrade to the Flaviar black membership to be able to purchase this “gift box edition” of blantons gold, specifically for the gift box edition part. It was an anniversary gift. I hate to give a one star rating because it’s still blantons, and there’s nothing to complain about with that. The one star review is for the inaccurate description. It’s just the regular black box of blantons gold. No “blinding golden box/gift box edition artisanal decanter” included, which made this a redundant bottle in this case. Just kind of sucked to give as a gift after expecting to be able to give the item described here.
