Bimini Coconut Gin

Bimini Gin is not your old traditional Gin. Wanting to break from tradition, these guys were inspired by summers on the coast. They handcraft Bimini Gin in Maine with hops and grapefruit that are distilled using a special modern process that separates juniper’s piney flavors and extracts more fruity and floral notes, resulting in a softer juniper flavor. They’re not about fancy exotic ingredients or anything like that but they’re more into a few key botanicals like grapefruit zest, hops, and coriander seed. Bimini Gins are bright, fragrant, and smooth tasting. In other words, perfect for a warm sunny day.

The inspiration for Bimini Coconut Gin came naturally from friends who would pair Bimini Gin with coconut flavors. So, these guys quickly went to work and infused all-natural coconut into the original Bimini Gin. They described it as Bimini on Vacation. Mind you, there are no flavor extracts in this Gin. Instead, Fair Trade Certified Extra Virgin coconut oil is used with a process called “fat washing” where the oil is heated to a liquid state and then combined with Gin. Then, the solidified oil is strained back out.
