The extraordinary distillery-bottled Scotch at hand was produced in 1981. Now put some Earth, Wind, and Fire on - let’s groove to some limited-edition Scotch facts - music to a Flaviarista’s ears.
Benromach is a family-owned distillery from Speyside with a sweet spot for Single Malt Whisky. They keep their Scotch-making ‘simple’ as they put it. Hand-picking and hand-making barley, water, and yeast into straight fine art! Using only first-fill (khm, insert a 40-years-old-virgin joke here) casks.
Released in 2021 and set to continue annually is an Oloroso Sherry Casks Strength delicacy of 57.1% ABV and a complex palate of ginger, tobacco, citrus, and coffee notes. Only a smudge over 1000 bottles were hand-made so, jump on it.
