Meet the crowning glory of Bayou® Rum - the XO Mardi Gras. Inspired by the vibrant spirit of New Orleans' Mardi Gras, this double-cask luxury Rum is a true carnival in a bottle. Matured in Bourbon barrels for up to five years, and further enhanced for an extra year in Spanish Pedro Ximenez Sherry barrels, it's a Rum like no other. Their 2023 Double Platinum Award from the "American Spirits Council of Tasting" is testament to its exceptional quality. You'll be intrigued by hints of orange marmalade, dark stone fruit, and bursts of blackcurrant, prune, and oak. A slight sweetness reminiscent of tupelo honey lingers, leading to a long, pleasantly dry finish with notes of honey, black pepper, and sherry.

Nose / Aroma / Smell

Jolly notes of toffee, butter, cream, and vanilla. It also carries a hint of sweet spice, orange marmalade, and dark stone fruit.
