Batch 22 Classic Gold New American Aquavit

The new American Aquavit: smooth and sippable.

The Covid-19 pandemic was a horrifying time for everyone, but some spent their isolated days more productively than others. Take these three best friends from L.A. for example – getting together in their kitchens, they decided to create a unique and tasty drink from scratch. Inspired by the traditional Scandinavian Spirit, they landed on an American take on Aquavit. Making sure the fennel and anise weren’t overpowering, their infusion gave more attention to citrus, caraway, and dill. After plenty of error and trial, perfection was achieved with Batch No. 22. The kitchen soon became too small, though. So, the three friends partnered with a renowned Missouri distillery that blends the base Spirit with the proprietary formula.

A wonderful Aperitif or a special cocktail ingredient, this golden-hued Spirit with floral and botanical flavors of lemon peel, dill, and toasted caraway seed swept multiple competitions when it won Gold at the 2022 Concours d'Spirits, when it was named Specialty Spirit of the Year at the 2022 New Orleans Spirits Competition, or when it won Platinum and was named Best Aquavit in Show at the 2022 L.A. Spirits Awards.
