Gold Label Seagrass is the pinnacle of Barrell Craft Spirits’ Seagrass series. Two sets of 20YO 100% Canadian Rye barrels built the foundation of Gold Label Seagrass. One on the bright citrus side, the other on the earthy side. The finishing was complex: a portion of the first set was finished in Apricot Brandy casks, a portion of the second set in Martinique rhum barrels, and a blend of the first and second sets in Malmsey Madeira barrels before it was all married together.

You can tell right from the nose that this is an extra old and layered Rye Whiskey. The classic tropical freshness is complemented by savory, herbaceous notes. Evolvin sip by sip, a Whiskey this complex can only be made with time in the barrel.
