Bourbon Meets Cognac: A Flavorful Affair

Bardstown Bourbon Ferrand Cognac Barrel Finish 2025 Release is a symphony of flavors, born from a second collaboration with Maison Ferrand. This limited-edition bourbon is a blend of 9, 11, and 12-year-old Kentucky bourbons and a 7-year-old rye, finished for 15 months in French oak cognac barrels. With an ABV that packs a punch, it boasts notes of black cherry, toasted oak, and vanilla cream, leading to a palate of baked apple and pecan. Awarded 94 points by Whisky Advocate and a Double Gold at the SF World Spirits Competition 2025.

Founded in 2013 Bardstown’s production started hitting its full output in 2015. They produce six million proof gallons of spirit per year making it one of the largest most modern distilleries in the world.

Their juice is central to the production of dozens of brands including Jefferson’s, High West, James E. Pepper, and several others. Their Collaborative Distilling Program brings together a first-class team of operators, using some of the most sophisticated technology in distilling.
