A luxurious Rum with tropical flavors of Jamaica.

Appleton-branded liquid gold has been in constant production here since 1749. Appleton Estate sits in the Nassau Valley of Jamaica — an amazing rainforest with steeply domed hills and narrow valleys filled with some of the finest "terra rosa" soils on the planet. It’s the Napa Valley of Rum… the Champagne region of sugar cane. Appleton put this premium location to good use. They have a complete range of Rum Spirits to choose from light Rum for mixing drinks to intensely flavorful aged Spirits for sipping and savoring.

Appleton Estate 15 Year Old Black River Casks Rum is a nod to the Black River that's the source of the pure limestone water for Appleton Estate Rums. It’s a blend of hand-picked pot and column still Rums that have been aged for at least 15 years. The tropical aging in Jamaica makes for a super rich and full-bodied Rum with flavors of almond, hazelnut, citrus, vanilla, and roasted coffee. Sip neat or on the rocks to take it all in.

If you are looking for the bes...

If you are looking for the best rum in the world, it only comes from one island, Jamaica. Appleton does not flavor its rum, so what you get is unadulterated rum as it was meant to be. The 21 year old is a blend of rum a minimum of 21 years old. They house rums up to 75 years old. I have been enjoying Appleton for over 32 years now. I started on the 12 year old, then graduated to the 21 and now the 15. Any of the three is great rum.
I suspect the rating of "1" given by another was meant to keep the masses from discovering this stuff as it can be hard to find.
