American Highway Reserve Bourbon Whiskey

The first Bourbon to be aged on the road.

Brad Paisley is a world-famous country superstar. He also loves Bourbon and together with Bardstown Bourbon Company he created American Highway Reserve Bourbon. They like to say the bourbon blend was born in Kentucky and aged across America.

Bardstown Bourbon Company is one of the largest distilleries in the world. Founded in 2013, they are the central production for dozens of famous brands — including Jefferson’s, High West, James E. Pepper, and many more. But they carve out a selection to release under their own brand as well.

American Highway Reserve Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey was aged in barrels that traveled in a 53-foot semi-trailer that followed his 2019 nationwide tour for 7,314 miles across 25 states. It was a journey from coast to coast and the changing climate expanded and contracted the staves of the barrels, imparting oak and char on the Bourbon. The batch was then blended with 3YO, 13YO and 15YO Kentucky Bourbons. It starts off sweet and spicy and continues with bright bursts of apricot and cinnamon with rich dark chocolate and leather in the background. Delicioso.
