Air Vodka

The purest Vodka ever produced, assembled at the molecular level, and carbon negative.

The Air Company describes itself as a "technology and design company." They have commercialized "cracking" carbon dioxide (CO2) and water (H2O) into pure ethanol and oxygen. If you mix ten molecules of H2O with four molecules of CO2 and inject electricity you can create two molecules of pure ethanol (CH3CH2OH) and six molecules of pure, stable oxygen (O2). They are performing this feat of technological alchemy using 100% solar energy. This means that the entire process is atmospherically carbon negative — it takes more carbon out of the air than it puts in. The process was declared one of Time Magazine’s Best Innovations of 2020 and a NASA Award finalist. They are developing products based on this technology and luxury fashion items that support their mission.

Air Vodka is derived from three ingredients — atmospheric CO2, pure water, and the sun (in the form of solar energy). The Vodka is not "just" filtered like all other Vodkas. Rather, it is assembled at the molecular level for a purity unimaginable by any other process — removing roughly one pound of carbon from the atmosphere for every bottle produced. And as such, it’s gluten-free, sugar-free, and carbohydrate-free. They cut the proof to 40% and add the smallest tiny whiff of natural flavoring to make it more than purely neutral on the palate.
