Admiral Rodney 'Officer's Release #2 Irish Whiskey Finished Rum

St Lucia Distillers sits tightly on the dreamy tropical island of Saint Lucia. Distilled in traditional twin column Coffey stills, Saint Lucian Rums are heavier bodied than most column-distilled Rums with more of the Rum’s character preserved. The long oak aging in the tropical climate doesn’t hurt either and you’re left with something truly special.

The second release in their Admiral Rodney Rum 'Officer's series was distilled back in 2009 and aged for 11 years in Bourbon casks before it was finished for 9 months in ex-Irish Whiskey casks. This is the first time their Rum was finished in Irish Whiskey but given the exceptional taste, probably not the last. At least we hope so, since only 5,000 bottles of this gorgeous Rum were released.
