Received a 3 bottle subscription as a Father’s Day gift from my wife. Descriptions of what it actually is, is extremely vague and confusing on several website pages. Bombardment of emails marketing different aspects of the company while waiting a long time for my first bottle was frustrating. I exchanged several emails with my “concierge” before I could get accurate info and complete answers to all of my questions. Finally did get my first delivery of a seemingly good bottle of bourbon (haven’t opened it yet) . Will wait to see what happens next month. My wife and I were also disappointed and not initially well informed of what the engraving entailed. (Ended up what she actually termed as “something I never would have put on a bottle”. The concept seems great. The bottles I’ve seen advertised are very interesting and seem to be priced well but I’ll wait for at least one more subscription delivery before I buy anything else or refer Flaviar to any of my friends.
I love the champions of bourbon. A bottle each month is perfect for me. The variety is great. It is a good feeling to get that email that tells me the next bottle is on the way.
I got a Champion of Whiskey subscription for my husband as a gift for Christmas. After watching "Christmas Vacation", I appropriately named it his, "Jelly of the Month Club". He has enjoyed every bottle he has received and even convinced me to renew his subscription. With the gift package, the company gave me options to buy a 3, 6, or 12 month subscription. I opted for the 6, and was pleased with both the price and whiskey. We have been so pleased with the selections and customer service of this company. We highly recommend their choices and have enjoyed the Membership benefits. Cheers!
I think this site is great for trying new spirits there great bottles but the subscriptions are vague, my brother bought my girlfriend and I the champions of bourbons collection as a Christmas gift in which he and I both thought it was a year supply of bourbon and we would get a new bottle each month we got one January,February and March and then they stopped coming so I looked all over there website nowhere does it say how long the subscriptions last I’m a little disappointed
So far my only issue is the bottles don't come on a consistent time frame due to one excuse or another and the only compensation is a 20% off coupon. The whiskey that I've been receiving, though, has been very tasty and that's why I haven't canceled.
