About Cask #002

For the second edition of our barrel program, we uncovered a cask worthy of the Cask Co-Op in Indiana—robust, full-bodied, and rich with character. After 7 years of aging, it’s now in New York, where it will finish in local wine casks, creating a true double-NY experience.

A tale of two states: Indiana builds the foundation, New York adds the flourish. With your name on the label, the bold spirit of both will shine in every pour.

How does the Cask Co-Op Collective work?

You’re joining a one-year whiskey journey. As a member, you co-own a real cask of 7-year-old Rye and receive three shipments over the year: a welcome kit, mid-year tasting samples, and two full-size bottles at the end of the experience.

What rye am I co-owning?

You’re co-owning a rye whiskey that’s already spent 7 years aging — made from a classic 95% rye / 5% malted barley mash bill and barreled at 120 proof.

It was originally barreled in Indiana, then moved to New York for further aging. Robust, full-bodied and full of character — the kind of whiskey typically reserved for special releases or collectors.

By the time it reaches you, it will be 8 years old — and every bottle will be individually numbered by hand, marking your place in the second cask of the Collective.

How many people co-own a cask?

Each cask is shared by a limited group of members. For this second release, only 200 spots are available across two casks.

What’s included in the experience?

  • Two 750ml bottles of 8YO Rye
  • 3× 1.5 oz tasting vials (new-make + aging spirit)
  • A personalized ownership certificate
  • Membership card with access to the experiential page
  • Access to vote on the cask finish

When will I get my shipments?

  • Month 1 (end of July): Welcome kit + a vial of new-make spirit
  • Month 6: 2 vials from the aging cask
  • Month 12: Final delivery — 2 full-size bottles of 8YO Rye

Can I change my shipping address?

Yes, you can! If you need to update your shipping address, simply reach out to our customer support team. They’ll help verify the address on file and make the necessary changes to ensure your shipments arrive at the right place.

Will my bottles be numbered?

Yes — each of your two 8YO Rye bottles will be individually numbered for authenticity and traceability. They’re exclusive to your Collective and your cask.

What exactly have I been gifted with the Collective?

Participation in this cask co-ownership program represents a pre-order of the specified items. As a gift recipient, you have been given the right to receive the outlined products, which will be delivered over a 12-month period. This is not a financial investment or security and does not confer any legal ownership of the cask or its contents beyond the agreed-upon final goods.

Do you deliver where I live? 

Currently, our services are available in all US states, except AL, AK, AR, DE, HI, MS, SD, UT, and WV.

Our services are currently unavailable in Canada, Guam, Puerto Rico, and overseas US military bases.

Furthermore, our vendors are unable to ship to PO Boxes, APO/FPO/DPO (AE/AP/AA) addresses, courier depots, and mail forwarding services.
