The story of Hotel Tango is an inspiring one. In the aftermath of the horrifying terrorist attacks on September 11 2001, Travis Barnes decided to serve his country as a U. S. Marine. After he was eventually honorably discharged due to his injuries, he rejoined civilian life, went to law school where he met his wife Hilary, and together they started making Whiskey with the same commitment and passion they put into everything else they do. Precision, rigor, discipline, a sense for giving back to the community: Travis took everything he learned in the military and applied it to his Whiskey-making. Hotel Tango was founded in 2014 and under the watchful eye of Master Distiller Bob Yates, they produce 9 high-quality Spirits.
Wearing numerous prestigious accolades, Hotel Tango American Straight Bourbon Whiskey is a high-rye Bourbon that’s been aged for 2 years. Weighing in at 90 proof, this is an incredibly well-balanced and dynamic Whiskey, especially considering its youth. Flavors of spicy pepper, toffee, orange, baking spices, and oak entertain your palate right to the smooth finish. Oh, and if we circle back to those accolades: Platinum at the 2021 SIP Awards and Gold at the 2021 San Francisco Spirits Competition are also on the list.

Limestone Branch Distillery, which produces Yellowstone Bourbon, also makes Minor Case Bourbon and Bowling & Burch Gin.
Speaking of breeding winner horses, two of Pinhook’s co-founders have horseracing in their DNA. Jamie Hill and Mike McMahon continue the tradition of their families as third-generation horsemen, owning a bloodstock agency and a thoroughbred racing company. Applying that knowledge to Whiskey just made sense.
