All about New Riff Distilling
In 2014 Ken Lewis launched New Riff Distillery with co-founder Jay Erisman in Newport that same year — just across the river from Cincinnati, Ohio. Lewis has been in the Spirits industry for over 30 years.
New Riff’s line up includes: New Riff Backsetter Peated Backset Rye and New Riff Single Barrel Rye. New Riff Distilling’s core Bourbon expression is a genuinely high-rye, full bodied Whiskey offering savory, spicy character.
Bottled in Bond without chill filtration, New Riff Bourbon is aged for at least four years, earning a Double Gold Medal at the 2019 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
