All about Naked Malt
First launched in 2011 the Naked Malt has been relaunched as its very own brand. Their modern Whiskies are a marriage of the world’s finest malt Whiskies – including Glenturret, Highland Park, and Macallan – matured in first-fill and refill American and European oak casks, and then finished in first-fill Oloroso Sherry butts for a further six months.
They call these casks Naked because they've never held Whisky before. This process imparts a layer of rich and fruity flavor, yet versatile. Not only do these casks play a big part in their story, but it also turns out they look great on a bottle too. They said no to labels and now their packaging is 100% recyclable.
