All about Alberta Premium

Alberta Premium is what you call a “dark horse.” It is a really solid Whisky, in a dated bottle with a black plastic cap for a relatively low price. But this 100% Rye Whiskey has got it where it counts — inside the bottle.

In fact, the famous Jim Murray consistently gives it an average score of 95 points, and has proclaimed it the Best Canadian Whisky four times. That’s not bad for a product that can usually be found in the mid-twenty dollars per bottle range.

Alberta Premium is actually a blend of two Ryes — one aged in new charred oak and the other in ex-Bourbon casks. Look for a classic rye aroma with floral notes, a palate filled with baking spice, and a clean finish.
