Brugal 1888

Founded in 1888
Brugal offer a diverse portfolio, everything from the Vodka-like, inexpensive, exceptionally light Rum (Brugal Blanco Especial Extra Dry) to an elaborate aged blend that comes with a very attractive presentation with a retail value of around £1,000 (Papa Andres).

All the Rum distillates are based on the company approach of pure, handcrafted, endlessly distilled, and passed down through generations.

Brugal distillery uses a meticulous distillation technique and maturation approach to ensure that the time in oak is the main source of flavor.

The company weaves together different cask types and char/toast conditions so that their Master Blenders or Maestro & Maestra Roneros have sufficient marques to work with.

What does Brugal 1888 taste like?

The Flavour Spiral™ shows the most common flavours that you'll taste in Brugal 1888 rum and gives you a chance to have a taste of it before actually tasting it.

We invented Flavour Spiral™ here at Flaviar to get all your senses involved in tasting drinks and, frankly, because we think that classic tasting notes are boring.
