We’re Relaunching the Flaviar Times!

From the ancient cellars of Cognac to the still houses of Scotland to the rickhouses of Kentucky, our stories will take you on a spirited journey around the world. Along the way, we hope you’ll discover a new drink or learn the fascinating backstory and origins of an old favorite.



Your guides on this adventure include some of the world’s finest drinks writers, among them Anna Archibald, Dave Broom, Lew Bryson, Wayne Curtis, Jeffrey Morhenthaler, Shannon Mustipher and Lauren Paylor. Similar to our selection of wonderfully diverse curated spirits, each of our columnists brings their own distinctive style, expertise, and knowledge.



Noah Rothbaum, Flaviar’s head of cocktails and spirits, will serve as editor-in-chief of the Flaviar Times and David Wondrich, Flaviar’s resident spirits and cocktails historian and advisor, will step in as editor-at-large.
