— The thing I like about this whiskey is that I've never had another quite like it. There's that sweet caramel right at the center of the experience, but all the other spice notes in play make this a whiskey you can drink all night and find something new to latch onto (and enjoy) with each sip. Just... don't actually drink it ALL night. Like a little Hercules terrorizing garden snakes, this baby is STRONG.
— This is a definite favorite! Sweet up front, smooth, with a strong tobacco and spicy leather finish I absolutely loved. Very well done and nice story behind the distillery too.
— Absolutley delicious! Been sippin' bourbons for over a year now. Leaned towards rye and "graduated" to single cask, small batch stuff to satisfy my palate. If you need high proof stuff to satisfy, but want something a little sweet, this is the best fix! Smells great, and chews like a sweet butter! I highly recommend! Currently my favorite go to.

James,
I don't do cinnamon well, so this may be a personal issue rather than an objective opinion... this is ok, spicy, doesn't really work for me neat. In an Old Fashioned, once the ice melted a little, it got a lot better. I'd buy it again at $25-$35. I'd pass above $35.
Joseph,
Less sweet with a cinnamon finish; it’s really very nice
JOSEPH,
Probably my favorite whiskey but has to be handled with care. Delicious flavor from start to finish and one ice cube chills it just enough to smooth the ride without taking the thrill out (like the shoulder harness on the roller coaster).
Tim,
Spicy and a bold! You can taste the cinnamon in this great find.
Terry,
Nose not as strong as expected. Tones of tobacco. Not a 100% wheat fan but this was a nice surprise. Sweet taste with a burn all the way down. Just not to my tastes.
Christine,
Not my favorite, honestly. Flavors are okay once you get over the initial burn, but not quite as smooth as other reviewers indicated.
Connor,
Very good. Strong alone due to high alcohol content, be careful! Also good with a coke or 7up.
Joe,
It’s like grandma’s hip flask opened in her purse and got all mixed up with her butterscotch candy, but with no lint or bits of tissue.
It’s got a nice sweet wheat, caramel taste at first with a butterscotch afterglow. I like it.

Dave,
Too spicy. Not sure if it's the wheat I don’t like.
Renee,
Too sweet with water but too sharp and biting when straight. Not for me.
guest,
So I went to the distillery with my partner and we tried their cask strength flight and this was on it. This is absolutely amazing! Now that I've moved out of the area I simply cannot find it.
I love bourbons and ryes... strong and smooth. Jim Beam's Booker's Bourbon was my favorite and go-to. This has replaced it.
Now stock it please :(
KC,
The taste is just amazing. There are so many flavors running around in my mouth. It is one of the most distinctive flavor combinations I've ever enjoyed. A MUST for the discriminating palate.
John,
Poured over a big cube, this whiskey takes a little while to mellow but there are a lot of flavors bouncing around in my glass! A little too smoky for my taste, it still makes me want to taste other whiskeys to challenge my palette!
Don,
Nice. A little on the dry side for me but it is something that I will drink again.
Harri,
No thank you!
Ryan,
Awesome! I wanted to buy a bottle and couldn't find it after my tasting.
Jonathan,
Lots of heat! Enjoyable for this newbie whiskey drinker. I get pipe tobacco overtones with a sweet finish. Reminds me of the descriptions I would read of whiskey in old, dime mystery novels.
Ziga,
...
Eric,
A bit sweet
Dean,
Overall not a bad box. Catoctin is a real bummer.
James,
A welcoming aroma followed by a strong bite finishing off with a nice aftertaste with hints of vanilla which you will pick up in the initial aroma.
Jon,
They're going for no added water, old school take. Sweet, cinnamon- honey nose. Sweet caramel with spice. Pungent warmth, but I dig.
Boyd,
This stuff will knock your socks off. Very strong, need to add water to it
Chuck,
Very strong. Nicely sweet
Manuel,

Rick,
A bit sweet, but good
Deja,
Not as harsh as it should be. It's different.
Kitt,
The initial boozey smell of this was overpowering. Add a bit of water to it and it is a delight.
Phillip,
Smelled like nail polish remover.
Virgil,
Wow!! Hits you in the face and then you ask for another!!
Scott,
Caramel definitely comes through. Smooth and a bit sweet.
