A contemporary Old School Whiskey.

Journeyman Distillery is located in a 19th century corset and buggy whip factory in Three Oaks, Michigan. EK Warren a hardcore prohibitionist in his time founded the company back in 1883 and the building where bottles are distilled, aged and bottled all under one roof hasn’t changed much. At Journeyman they focus on distilling handcrafted, organic spirits, from Gin, Vodka to all kinds of Whiskeys. As they are located on the northern edge of grain-fed American heartland it is no wonder that Whiskey from all kinds of grain is their largest product category.

Journeyman Corsets, Whips & Whiskey is their barrel strength 100% Wheat Whiskey. Unmolested by any addition of water this liquid is as it comes from the barrel and because of that it packs such a spicy punch that you won’t forget easily. Their products are organic and kosher certified, but their philosophy is to recreate Whiskeys as they once were, that said this is an old school Whiskey with all the contemporary certificates that will make you crave for more, much more.

Jonathan
Jonathan,
Lots of heat! Enjoyable for this newbie whiskey drinker. I get pipe tobacco overtones with a sweet finish. Reminds me of the descriptions I would read of whiskey in old, dime mystery novels.

They're going for no added water, old school take. Sweet, cinnamon- honey nose. Sweet caramel with spice. Pungent warmth, but I dig.
