Flor de Cana

In 1890 Francisco Alfredo Pellas built the first distillery of what was to become the Compañía Licorera de Nicaragua at the San Antonio Sugar Mill in Chichigalpa, Nicaragua. Today the company is led by the 5th generation of the Pellas family and their brand Flor de Caña has grown to become one of the most recognised Rums Worldwide. They also own one of the largest aged Rum reserves. Flor de Caña's logo which is present on all bottles (if you look hard enough) is a road, with palm trees on the sides and a chain of volcanoes in the horizon.

What does Flor de Cana taste like?

The Flavour Spiral™ shows the most common flavours that you'll taste in Flor de Cana rum and gives you a chance to have a taste of it before actually tasting it.

We invented Flavour Spiral™ here at Flaviar to get all your senses involved in tasting drinks and, frankly, because we think that classic tasting notes are boring.
