How time flies when you’re having fun. The objective remains unchanged — track down a sumptuous, unique single-barrel treasure. Consider it done, noted the Trio.

Location: Rothes, Scotland. By the burn at the edge of town, hiding in a glen, there’s a distillery where our Whisky foragers found a Sherry butt. Based on their intel and extensive tasting, they decided that’s the one — just one for Flaviar Members, precious and exquisite. Fourteen years within Barrel No. 6839 turned the juice into a warm, sophisticated sip. To make it even more unique and valuable, we’ve equipped it with an NFT!

Is it good enough for the seasoned palates of Flaviaristas? What a silly question; it’s perfect! Mission accomplished.

Appearance / Color
Burnished.

Nose / Aroma / Smell
The refined leathery aroma introduces us to sweet notes of honey, citrus, and tangerine and a more medicinal baseline coming from cresols.

Flavor / Taste / Palate
The long-lasting and warm flavors treat the palate to layers of complex notes, including candied fruits and figs—unmistakably Glenrothes, but on a whole new level.

Finish
Endlessly sweet finish with a lovely twist of peat and smoke.
