Roots Spirits is a bold and fresh company founded in 2013, when two Greek brothers Manos and Nikolas decided to go back to their roots, find the best Spirits their history has to offer, and bring them to us in an exciting new form. Four Root liquors are handcrafted and based on ancient herbal remedies dating back to the middle of the 19th century, using natural native ingredients of Greece. In just a few years, Roots potions conquered the best bars in London, Athens, Rome, and Paris. Each Spirit has its own story.

One of the traditional jazzed up Spirits is Roots Mastic, a refurbished Liqueur from the Greek island of Chios, a transparent beverage flavored with mastic distillate (a resin known as the "Tears of Chios"). It only grows there, and it was even mentioned by Herodotus and Hippocrates for its medicinal use, and the Romans were absolutely nuts about it. This spirited Liqueur is an aromatic explosion of elegant and refreshing scents, taking you straight to the picturesque island in the Aegean Sea. It's served cold and perfect with a fresh lime slice or pour good old tonic in it and refresh your summer afternoons.
