Once upon a time, three friends from Colorado went on an adventurous ski trip to Alaska where they shared stories over a glass or two of Whiskey with fellow travelers every night. For the three friends, this became the gist of Mythology: everyone can create their own, all you need are some good friends and some good Whiskey. So, upon their return to Colorado, the three friends founded the Mythology Distillery that eventually became Colorado’s Top Distillery. Headed by Scott Yeates, they’ve on-boarded an experienced team of distillers and in just 2 years, Mythology Whiskey won more than 50 awards.
Mythology Hell Bear American Whiskey is a blend of Straight Rye Whiskey, a 4YO and a 5YO Bourbon that won Double Gold at the prestigious San Francisco International Spirits Competition in 2020. It was named after the story of a prospector from Colorado that was shown the way by the Hell Bear when lost in the darkness. Expect aromas of fruit and subtle botanicals that evolve into rye spice and smooth vanilla and caramel flavors. Smooth enough for you to sip it neat, sharp enough to bite through your favorite cocktail.
