Made with grapes from Champagne and aged in Cognac & Armagnac barrels, this is one unique French Vodka.
When the business-savvy Paul Berkmann got together with Jean-Luc Braud, a Spirits wizard formerly of the Rémy Cointreau Group, it was with a clear goal in mind. The two Frenchmen would create an all-natural Vodka ― premium, unique, and 100% French. There was to be no compromise when trying to achieve the perfect character and taste. Only the finest ingredients and artisanal distilling techniques would bring about the mighty fine Spirit they were after.
French Vodka is often distilled from grapes and Guillotine Heritage is not different in that regard. It's crafted with Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, and Chardonnay grapes from Champagne. The grape marc is distilled in a 100-year-old distillery using traditional methods. Being an aged expression, the Spirit is then poured into barrels made of French oak from the Limousin region that used to hold Cognac & Armagnac, where it spends 6 months to a year. This results in a uniquely oaky, rich, warm, and sweet Vodka that's bottled at 95 proof ― slightly higher than the unaged counterpart.
