Honoring the father of single barrel Bourbon and an acclaimed Master Distiller with over 4 decades of experience, is no small feat. "If you want something done right, do it yourself," goes the saying and Elmer did just that.

This limited-edition commemorative 90th Birthday Edition Single Barrel Sour Mash Bourbon honors the now late Elmer, but was the barrels used for this bottling were still personally selected by the legend himself. Released in 2009, this NAS Whiskey is rumored to be derived from Buffalo Trace's #2 mash bill that contains 12-15% rye, and carries sweetly toned aromatics of caramel and toffee candy over smoky char, with a rye spice-laden palate with vanilla, and faintly fruity undertones.
