Master Ronero Don Pancho is truly a legend. Long the premier Rum-maker in Cuba, he fled when the Communista government took over and started making unsavory changes in production. He found an abandoned distillery in Panama and set up shop once again, maintaining his no-compromises approach. Don Pancho Origenes Rum 18 Year Reserva Especial is in the middle of his range (imagine when an eighteen-year-old is your “middle”).
