Copper Fox Peachwood American Single Malt Whisky

Went to the distillery in Sperryville VA (highly recommended experience). Sampled almost everything they had. Thought I would really enjoy this peach wood one but surprisingly it was my least favorite of the 8 or 10 types I tried. It was more harsh than I expected and no fruity nose or taste that I remember. BTW, many of CF's Whisky are more like a fairly young scotch (no aged heavy mouth feel like with more aged whisky's) but they have very distinct heavy rye and wood noses. They often infuse their barrels with extra wood chips to accelerate and intensify the nose and flavors of their spirits. Unfortunately, I liked this peach one the least. P.s. if you hate the pine sol taste of gin, you should try their gin - it's different.

I was very disappointment right from the first sip. It bites too strong and has no smoothness to it. I can't taste any good notes at all because of how rough it is.
