Empire State home runner Bourbon

Cooperstown distillery doesn’t mess around when it comes to two things: their art of Whiskey-making, and their hometown after which they are named. The artisanal distillery uses New York State grains only, and they employ a unique still made in Germany to distill their Spirits. It’s the first and only distillery in Otsego County, and their booze is powered by the crystal clear lake Glimmerglass.

Baseball fans probably recognize the name of the tiny town in upstate New York. Cooperstown is famous for the National Baseball Hall of Fame. The story goes that Civil War hero Abner Doubleday invented baseball there, and while the tale is almost certainly tall, Cooperstown distillery created the Doubleday Baseball Bourbon to celebrate the Game. It’s a blend of two Bourbons sourced in Indiana, bottled in a cool baseball decanter. The liquid ode to the best game ever is spicy and full of vanilla notes. Grab this power hitter and bottoms up to balls and bats.

Nice average bourbon. Nothing special. Easy sipper. Very good in cocktails. The bottle alone is worth the purchase

Similar to what others have said here, only really worth it to buy for the bottle design. Especially as a baseball fan. Nothing complex and not the smoothest, could potentially be solid as a mixer.
