Resurrected in 2011, the laddies and lassies at the Bruichladdich Distillery have been on a steady mission to become an antidote to the industry norm; to be pioneers, provocateurs, and change-makers, re-evaluating the prescribed rules of the industry and create the most thought-provoking Spirits out there.

The Laddie Twenty Two is dedicated to the relentless passing of time and a Whisky's resilience to withstand it. The barley is mashed, the wort is brewed, the Spirit is distilled, and the angels take their share. The Master Distillers pass their legacy, generations change, but the heart and the soul of the distillery, the Bruichladdich Islay Whisky, reassuringly waits, ages, and gets better and more complex. This one withstood time for over two decades, bathing in the invigorating marine air of the Atlantic. It emerges smooth and mellow, with an elegant bouquet of honey, almonds, freshly-picked Summer flowers, followed by custard cream, toasted barley, banana bread, vanilla fudge, and marzipan.
