Tamdhu CAN-DHU. Anything is possible. Everything goes when it comes to this Whisky. Its entry into our hall of fame was inevitable and any resistance on our part—futile. Not that there was any. Let's just say we were quite willing.

Distilled in 1999 and matured for 18 years, this expression epitomizes the grandeur that is Tamdhu. Peak performance from start to finish using only the best ingredients. One perfect cask and no dilution, which means that it’s packing a whopping 106.2 proof natural cask strength punch. The result? A Spirit that really can do. Shia LaBeouf once screamed "JUST DO IT" at the top of his testicles. And if Tamdhu wasn’t the inspiration behind the viral video, it should have been.

Ladies and gents… your turn to get inspired.

Appearance / Color
Golden brown.

Smell / Nose / Aroma
A bit pungent on the first whiff, then a hell of great scents breaks loose. From citrusy, fresh aromas to earth-like flavors.

Flavor / Taste / Palate
Zesty, with a lot of different fruity and citrusy tones that linger. Quite oaky and a bit phenolic in the aftermath.

Finish
Strong and straight to the point, this finish just doesn’t stop at all.

This was an outstanding scotch. Extremely smooth great with a fine Cuban cigar

Zack
Zack,
My first Deer, Bear & Moose bottle and it did not disappoint! I agree with the tasting notes that the nose is a bit strong at first, but it tastes fabulous and the finish lingers in just the right way. Outstanding.

What a delicious bottling! Thank you!

Christopher
Christopher,
Immediately at the pour, the Sherry, wine fruit bursting. Tasting leather, oak and wine, with a long sherry/wine finish. Amazing!

Finley
Finley,
Upon opening, the aroma was a bit strong with alcohol on the nose, and the palate was similar. Although still great, I was wondering if this bottle would breathe and develop after opening, and man did it ever!!!!! Now after 3 weeks of opening and having only 2 pours, the nose is full of red fruits and citrus and some honey in the back, and the palate is amazing as well!!! Almost cherry and grapes!!!! Sherry influenced for sure and some faint European oak bitterness on the finish!!!! Easily my best purchase of the year so far!!!!! Thank you Flaviar!!!!!

Darren
Darren,
So smooth! Lovely honey aroma and taste but with a nice kick at 53%. My first deer bear and moose bottle has worked out well

Jeremy
Jeremy,
Loved it! It was my first Deer, Bear & Moose purchase, and I was pleasantly surprised. I'm more of a Japanese whiskey fan, but saw this as a great opportunity to see what good scotch tasted like. It has some serious strength to it. It's almost spicy. But the flavor sure does erupt in your mouth. Definitely has the scotch profile. At fist sniff, it smells like something you'd find in your grandparent's liquor cabinet. Almost off-putting. But right as you realize where you recognize that smell from, the complexities start to unfold. Then, when you sip it, it all falls into place. Very good scotch. Even brought the bottle over to a friends house who has better knowledge and experience with scotch, he loved it.
