In 2009, Troy Turner rode the rails to the Seattle and settled down and opened his Tatoosh Distillery. He started with a single-malt Whiskey, then added Bourbon and Rye to the menu. He uses small batch distilling in copper stills, local ingredients, proper aging in American oak.
Four generations of Southern Moonshine is mixed into a classic Bourbon recipe. The recipe is an Americana : 70% corn, 15% Rye, and 15% malt, and has a sweet, spice, and complexity.
