Making Whiskies for two hundred years, Speyside wunderkind Macallan knows a thing or hundred about making our heads spin in astonishment. Using the precious knowledge and experience to their advantage, mixing them with limitless imagination and gumption, Macallan produces some of the most exclusive and ritzy Scotches out there (and in here).
One of their finest creations is the annual limited release of the Classic Cut. Each year, a team of experienced magicians heads out to create something new and extraordinary. The year 2018 is no different: this bottle houses a unique and unparalleled Single Malt that brings sweet and balanced flavor harmony of vanilla and citrus. The ABV of 51.2% was chosen by the Whisky Maker Ian Morrision as the sweet spot strength that reveals the flavors from Sherry oak casks at their best. It has indulgence written all over it (not literally – you can write your own words on the bottle).
