Interestingly, this most famous French company located in Cognac, France, was founded by Irishman Richard Hennessy in 1765. The modern company produces nearly two dozen core Spirits and many more collectors editions and limited releases as a subsidiary of Moët Hennessy, which in turn is owned in partnership by Diageo and LVMH.
