Dutch courage my friends.

Zuidam Distillery was founded in 1975 in the Netherlands by Fred van Zuidam. The beginnings were humble indeed. It took them over 10 years before the business started taking off – that is after his wife Helene started designing the packaging for the products. These days the distillery is run by their two sons Patrick and Gilbert, however father Fred is still involved in all recipes and mother Helene still makes the design. They use local windmills for the production of malted barley, helping preserve an important Dutch heritage of their World-famous windmills.
Zuidam Dutch Courage Dry Gin is Zuidam's take on Dutch Courage. Thi is a small-batch Dry Gin produced by using Windmills to grind the barley into flour, which acts as its base. This method is used as it prevents an increase in temperature from the barley, thereby keeping the very flavours and smell that comes with it, apparent in the malty tones of the Gin.

List of botanicals:

Italian juniper to coriander, angelica, oranges, lemons, liquorice root, cardamom pods, vanilla and iris root.

What does Zuidam Dutch Courage Dry Gin taste like?

The Flavor Spiral™ shows the most common flavors that you'll taste in Zuidam Dutch Courage Dry Gin and gives you a chance to have a taste of it before actually tasting it.

We invented Flavor Spiral™ here at Flaviar to get all your senses involved in tasting drinks and, frankly, because we think that classic tasting notes are boring.

Dog Dogson's
London dry gin is not always from London. Gin does not have the same geographical restrictions as spirits such as cognac, scotch or tequila. Only a tiny handful of London dry gins are actually made in the city.
