Zuidam Dutch Courage Gin is produced used the batch distillation method, which means that the individual botanicals are all distilled in a small copper pot still, before being blended and cut with more neutral grain spirit.

This method is believed to keep a more pure flavor to each of the distillates, so no flavor is lost when the botanicals mix during distillation. Dutch Courage Gin is made with juniper, iris root, coriander, angelica root, fresh oranges, lemons, and limes (as opposed to dried peels), liquorice and vanilla.

A well-balanced Gin with a lot of flavors. Zuidam also produces an Old Tom Gin and an American Oak Aged Gin.
