Since its launch in 1984, Yamazaki has followed Shinjiro Torii's philosophy of "tsukuriwake". Japanese for "artisanship through a diversity of making", tsukuriwake set a strong pillar for the ultra-refined art of Japanese Whisky-making, credited for Yamazaki's success.

The Yamazaki Spanish Oak Single Malt Whisky was released as a part of a four-piece series called the 2022 Yamazaki Limited Edition Tsukuriwake Selection. The selection honors the foundation pillars of the Single Malt brand – puncheon, peated malt, Spanish oak, and Mizunara – this four-strong line celebrates the four key components Yamazaki has been made using since 1984.

The Spanish Oak release highlights the depth "enchancer" wood that gives this Whisky the quintessential multi-layered full flavor profile with mature fruity notes we've all come to love and expect from a Yamazaki Single Malt.
