Top reviews for Woodford Reserve Wheat Whiskey:
— Excellent! Perfect amount of sweet and spice. Very easy to drink. Lose flavor profile almost immediately with ice. Drink neat or use whiskey stone if enjoy chilled. Personally get somewhat of a cherry/cinnamon note on nose. Initial taste get small amount of cinnamon spice then sweet frosting and then more oak on finish. First try of wheat heavy whiskey. Will keep this one in bar.
— Fantastic. Just the right amount of cinnamony bite in the front and a great honey-coconut finish.

A mellow smooth whiskey.
Maraschino cherries. Mild mesquite, which is surprising. Sugary baked goods and some candied nuts. Has that woodford body.
Smooth. The benchmark of bourbon flavour for me
not a bad bottle just not the woodford taste I am used to
Not the smoothness I was expecting from a wheated bourbon. It's not bad, just different. I get coconut on the nose and the following taste has spice at first that goes into a nice cinnamon and honey finish.
I could have it again
Wheat bourbons are by definition a totally different aroma and taste than their corn brethren. If you are experimenting, looking for something other than a Rye or Corn whisky, this is a good place to start. However, if you are a Wheat Bourbon aficionado, try the Bernheim 7 yr, or the Ragged Branch Wheated varietals. Both are very flavorful and more pleasing to my pallet. Drink what you enjoy.
Very smooth and at a fantastic price. This is not a sharp nor spicy drink. It's an easy to drink smooth whiskey. At such a low price this has become my favorite any day whiskey to enjoy.
It’s Woodford. It’s wheat. What’s not too love!
not horrible just not the Woodford reserve quality I am use to
Well for a long-awaited wheated bourbon, it's pretty much a "new coke." The mash bill is not an improvement by the addition of wheat - overall it's a far lesser bourbon when compared to the standard Woodford bourbon offering.
Drinks like water. Light sweet apple and mint.

Smooth. Sweet. Very drinkable.
Great bottle. Great juice. Smooth and complex.
my go to drink. Slightly spicy with bit of oak
Fantastic. Just the right amount of cinnamony bite in the front and a great honey-coconut finish.
This bourbon is really ok. It was not as smooth as I expected for a wheated bourbon. The double oaked Woodford Reserve is better.
Great product for the price and accessibility. Heavy drink, perfect with a steak or cigar.
Woodford has one upped its Distillery brothers and sisters. Always keep it for company and special occasions. There simply isn’t any better out there at any price.
My everyday go to. Smooth with a great finish. I am a rookie so I am sampling a lot in the $25 to $50 range. So far this is one I have to have on the shelf
Pleasant spice with a slightly familiar taste to the double oaked, while still being quite different. Love both and would recommend picking either one or both up.
A little bit too spicey for me
Love this bourbon! I'm finding that I am a wheated bourbon type of guy and this one nestles into my flavor profile quite nicely. So good for such a good price! It is starting to become my go to.
I'm with you on the wheats. They are really coming out to be sweet, but not too sweet, and counter the rye spices. I just tried this one today from Flaviar, but after trying one here called Journeyman Corsets Whips and Whiskey, I had to buy two more! Love these high wheat profiles!
Pleasantly surprised...does not disappoint! I didn't know what to expect, but was pleased by this smooth and complex, inexpensive whisky. Definitely check it out! I will be buying it again.
Not Weller but tastes great especially for the price point and it’s not nearly as hard to find as Weller! Go buy a bottle and you won’t be disappointed!
Go to in any occasion. Smooth and priced right.
Smooth and easy drinking. Love
Smooth, slight burn. Complex on the tongue. Nice entry level whiskey.
my favorite of all bourbons. smooth.
I’ll update my review after my second glass but my initial take isn’t stellar.
Don’t let the “wheat whiskey” fool you into thinking you’ve found Weller.
It’s a pseudo sweeter, slightly thinner, less ideal version of regular Woodford. The saving grace is Regular Woodford is good.
The nose has cherries on it. I guess it’s the apple and the mint. But as you drink you get a fake cherry taste. The finish carries it through. It’s not great, IMO.
Put your money elsewhere.
I enjoyed the taste, but was a little 'thin' in texture and 'sharp' on finish. I would purchase again, but different experiences/opinions help, I hope.
Nice, simple and smooth bourbon, one of my all time favorites
