WILLOWBANK DISTILLERY

Distillery
Founded in 1974
The Wilson’s Dunedin Distillery, also known as Willowbank Distillery, was established in 1974 on the South Island of New Zealand by the Baker family. It was the southerly distillery in the world, producing highly regarded Milford and Lammerlaw Whisky brands.

The distillery closed in 1997. The remaining stock is now owned by The New Zealand Whisky Company that stores it in a seaside warehouse in Oamaru and gradually releases it.

What does Willowbank distillery taste like?

The Flavour Spiral™ shows the most common flavours that you'll taste in Willowbank distillery New Zealand Whisky. It's based on all Willowbank distillery drinks in our large database and gives you a chance to taste Willowbank distillery before actually tasting it.

We invented Flavour Spiral™ here at Flaviar to get all your senses involved in tasting drinks and, frankly, because we think that classic tasting notes are boring.
