William Tarr is one of the OGs of Bourbon, and his stuff was so good, it was known as ‘Golden Tarr’ in the 1860s. Today, his principles and high standards are being revived by a group of Bourbon-loving investors.

Manchester Reserve is a blend of 8-year-old Rye Whiskey and 7-year-old Bourbon, hand-picked by Master Distillers as they scoured rickhouses for months. The 114 Proof Kentucky Straight Whiskey is complex and delightful, with notes of dark raisin, red apple, molasses, caramel, vanilla, and praline.

Straight Bourbon must be matured for at least 2 years. If a bottle has no age statement, it’s at least 4 years old.
Sure, Kentucky gets all the press when it comes to Bourbon. And with good reason—nearly 95% of it is produced there. But Bourbon can be made anywhere as long as it's within the United States. Just ask states with budding distilleries like Illinois and New York.
Bourbon matures quicker than Scotch due to higher temperatures in American warehouses.
Bourbons are very high in vanilla, as American White Oak is naturally high in vanillins.
