David
David,
Easy to drink straight up. Lots of character in my opinion. I did get another bottle from a different barrel... not as smooth. If you can find the barrel that was closer to ground level they seem to be smoother

Decent dram, does not beat Rare Breed or Russell's Reserve SB

Fantastic. Spicy but smooth. Has the classic Wild Turkey 101 characteristics but more refined and complex.

Buy it!

Patrick
Patrick,
A little more bite than Blantons, super smooth with a nice burn. Perfect for drinking neat.

Adam
Adam,
Excellent single barrel for fans of the high rye Wild Turkey. The mash is excellent and has a some what floral finish.

Adam
Adam,
Exceptional bourbon - I know their Rare Breed gets a lot of the attention, but I personally think this one is just a step above

Mike
Mike,
This bird has bite, still a solid bottle. for sure a special occasion bottle.

Clare,
Another of my husband's favorites.

Ian
Ian,
It's solid. WT does good whiskey plain and simple this one doesn't disappoint. It's a great daily drinker or a special occasion whiskey as well. It's complex enough to really get into but smooth enough to enjoy frequently. I think WT is my favorite Bourbon family out there right now.

Jeffrey
Jeffrey,
Not tasting the rye shown the tasting notes. Good for me because I don’t like rye. This is a great whiskey. Caramel at first, then a nice spice at the end. Makes me want to try their cheaper bottles. And their pricier ones.

guest
guest,
I found it strong up front and in the finish. A couple drops of water did not change appreciably.

Jernique,
Loved it!! Very smooth with caramel taste to it.

Mike
Mike,
Notes of oak, citrus and vanilla. Very flavorful and nice rye spiciness. Pairs well with Kentucky Basketball and a Perdomo 20th Anniversary Sun Grown! Don’t like it as well as Rare Breed but it is another fine offering from Wild Turkey.

Christopher
Christopher,
Nose: Rich caramel and butterscotch. Vanilla. A touch of nutmeg. More butterscotch. A bit of tanniny oak coming through. Palate: Ripe cherries. No, cherry jam. Leather. Tannins. Oak. Stone fruit. Candied plums. Finish: Oak. Earth. Every so often, the suggestion of clove. This is a really lovely bourbon that is well worth the price of admission.

George,
Loved it! So smooth.

Ross
Ross,
"Hot". not my favorite sipping bourbon. Strong, lightly sweet with corn and a hint of vanilla everywhere. Not a lot of substance after that to me. Stands up well in mixed drinks.

Benjamin
Benjamin,
One of the best

Brandon
Brandon,
Good bourbon. Enjoyed it. Like most single barrel bourbons that extra proof adds a little more bite at the end. Still enjoyed it on ice.

George
George,
Very nice. Quite smooth with a good taste. Good everyday drink.

ROBERT
ROBERT,
I'm not a big whiskey drinker but the tastings are getting me there. Very strong finish, feels great on the tongue then has a pretty good kick at the end, not a bad kick, just a kick. Great with a good cigar.

Don
Don,
I'm normally a fan of Wild Turkey products, but this one is special. Smooth and soothing. It will be on my list of bourbons to keep in stock.

Charles
Charles,
This is my favorite from the Wild Turkey stable. From the elegant bottle, to the smoothness, ending in a nice slow burn, I'll brag a bottle of Kentucky Spirit from time to time. The $50-$60 range is a crowded room, but this one is near the top of the class.
